Schiller has been with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia since 1983. He advises monetary policymakers sitting on the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) and analyzes regional economic conditions in the Third Federal Reserve District, which includes eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and the state of Delaware. Schiller received his education in the region, having earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Rutgers University.
