For over 15 years, PDMA has been supporting the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House has been providing a home away from home for families with critically ill children in local hospitals for 35 years.
The organization operates two Houses in Philadelphia serving a total of 60 families each night. Founded in 1974 as the very first Ronald McDonald House, the Philadelphia House is the model for the over 285 Houses throughout the world.
Traditionally, we have hosted a holiday auction or casino night. Beginning this year, however, we decided to focus on the Ronald McDonald House all year, not just during December. In addition to periodic raffles at our monthly events, we are also planning to participate in volunteer events at various times throughout the year.
Please consider how you can contribute to PDMA and the Ronald McDonald House. Both need volunteers and together we can give back and help provide personal and financial support for a great casue.
